Property Investor Visa

This residency programme was introduced in the UAE in 2015. However, recent reforms have introduced new and more relaxed conditions to widen its reach, allowing more investors to benefit from it.

This visa mainly covers investors who own properties valued at AED 750,000 or higher. The investor is also allowed to sponsor his dependents through this visa type.

5-year visa eligibility
  • An investor must own a property with a minimum value of AED 5 million
  • The property should be retained for a minimum of 3 years
  • The amount should not be loaned
3-year visa eligibility
  • An investor must own a property with a minimum value of AED 750,000
  • This visa is only applicable for owners of freehold residential properties
  • It must not be loaned and the property should be retained for a minimum of 3 years
  • No-objection letter written in Arabic from the bank
  • An investor can also apply through a jointly-owned property; however, their individual share must be worth AED 750,000 or more
